Find a practice that suits you
You can come to in person yoga classes, or you might prefer to stay at home and practice online. I love curating special practices for you too, such as seasonal celebrations, longer yin classes, restful afternoons and day retreats. Click here to browse and book.
Within my classes that are suitable for this modern day life, I try to honour the rich depth of the yoga tradition, using pranayama (breath), asana (postures), meditation, contemplation and a generous savasana (relaxation). These are the very aspects that made me fall in love with yoga. I often offer poetry and moments of quiet reflection. Moving mindfully can bring us firmly into the very present moment, and begin to reveal our habits and patterns to ourselves. Consistent practice of yoga can have profound effects that ripple out into all areas of life. In my yoga classes, you are always invited and encouraged to make the practice your own.
You can book individual yoga classes, or take advantage of a 6 class pass.
In Person Classes
We meet weekly at the studio on monday evenings, friday mornings and sunday mornings. In addition you’ll see pop-up yoga classes within the yoga schedule below.
There is also a new class on Saturday mornings in Ickleford Village Hall during October and November.
Practice Online
The monday evening yoga is also available online. Each month, there is a 30 minute free saturday morning online only practice. From time to time I offer a week long gathering of short online practices.
Special Practices
Everything else falls under this umbrella. You might find a practice to celebrate a solstice, a new season, a long restful practice, new years day and whole days of retreat. Keep an eye out through my newsletter for these.
Prenatal
Teaching prenatal yoga is one of my real passions. I run six week courses, during which time I hope to offer you lots of valuable practices. Our next gathering begins soon. You can browse and book your space here.
